The Big Daddy Series safe from Winchester provides high-gun capacity with an impressive list of features, including a fire rating of 75 minutes at 1400 F degrees, five layers of fireboard in the door, three layers of fireboard in the body and a Palusol heat-expandable door seal. Beveled edges create a stylish finish without compromising strength. The Big Daddy is U.L. listed for burglary protection with the Residential Security Container and lock standard, exceeding California DOJ requirements, and includes a number of features for added protection such as 12-gauge steel body construction, composite door construction, pry-resistant recessed door, an auxiliary relocker, drill-resistant hard plate 60-61Rc and a Chamberlain disc to protect the lock by resisting tool attacks. There are 14 locking bolts made of 1.5" solid steel activated by a three-spoke handle that engages the 4-way locking bolt system. Heavy-duty, external strap hinges allow 180-degree door swing for full access into the safe and complete fireboard coverage. An extra-wide, 38" body coupled with a door organizer and gray automotive-grade lining to provide a soft place for valuables, including firearms and ammunition.The interior measures 56"H x 38"W x 16"D, includes interior shelves and allows enough room for up to 54 long guns. External measurement is 60"H x 42"W x 28"D, which includes 3 inches for the hinges and handle.
