Illinois River DJ Louisiana Style Cutdown

This is one of David Jackson versions of the cutdown Louisiana style duck call. The tonal plug has been cut on an angle on the end so the reed sticks out over the end of the plug. The contour has been modified to give the deep sound of the mallard hen. The tonal plug of course is made out of hard rubber with the keyway slot. I can either put in white mylar reeds or I can put in black vinyl reeds to suit your needs. The calls differ a lot in the way they are tuned and in turn has a complete different sound.
